Took my 2nd visit to the doctor today because my tonsils are so swollen and sore it seriously pains me to swallow. She gave me a Zpac, Prednisone, and then asked me if I have had mono before. It's funny because last week I kept wondering what was wrong with me, as I had such a weird combination of sore throat, fever, achy body, and I thought to myself "If I hadn't had mono before I would think that's what this is..." (I thought you could only have it once). Anyway- I find out Friday and I so hope I don't have mono. It lasts forever, or 4-6 weeks, and you just feel tired and miserable and there is nothing you can do about it.
