We're back! We had an amazing time in the pacific northwest- first spending a couple days in Seattle and then a few days in Olympia with Kirsten, Chad and Andy. In Seattle, we stayed in a condo that we found on HomeAway- which was so great. We were able to walk or take the link everywhere downtown. We shopped, drank micro-brews, ate fish and chips, and then had dinner with one of Bennett's teachers from high school. Davis was amazing- despite the time change, the cold weather and the fact that we had him in the stroller all day- he was such a happy little man. So thankful for his happy spirit and flexibility.
In Olympia, we played with Andy, who is so adorable. He has bright red hair and he smiles and coos already. Boy does he know who his momma is...I don't remember Davis being so attached to me so early on. He adores Kirsten. Anyway- we took long walks every day, ate great seafood, had amazing coffee and on Saturday morning Kirsten and I had a girls morning out- we shopped at the local stores in Oly and got pedicures. So fun!
Sunday we missed our flight and got home super late...still adjusting to the time change. Anyway- it was a great trip and I think we all feel more refreshed! Here are a few pictures. We really didn't get many- too busy having fun.
Oh p.s. a few things Davis is into:
- hearty laughing
- chicken nuggets
- walking
And a few things he hates:
- hats or anything he has to put on his head
- halloween costumes. no thank you!
