We spent quite a bit of time playing in the front yard on a sleeping bag this weekend...Davis and I had gone on a walk around the neighborhood and just weren't ready to go inside. Bennett joined us after hearing us giggle and talk out front. Davis is doing lots of giggling and talking these days. His sounds are so different- it really is like he has his own language. Also- he's really become quite the ham. He does a really loud chuckle, and most recently, he's added a very dramatic, fake cry to his portfolio. He wails, no tears, then looks around to see what we'll do. Then he smiles.
Last night we went over to B's parents house for dinner- it was so much fun. We drank wine, talked, laughed and then had the most amazing Italian feast ever. It was such a nice way to spend a Sunday. And Davis was just a little gem, crawling around, scaling their stairs, and being happy all afternoon even though he missed his nap.
And tomorrow- we leave for Washington!!!
